PRODUCTS USED FOR BLASTING

We use several types of media to suit different jobs, namely:

SYNTHETIC MINERAL GRIT

Silica free and environmentally friendly - used for building and steel cleaning. Available in two grades, fine and medium.

MAGNESIUM-IRON SILICATE

A safe alternative to silica sand, making it environmentally friendly. Used mainly for building work or removing surface rust from steel. Available in four grades, ranging from 0.09 - 2.36mm

COPPER SLAG

A synthetic material media, and with a wide range of grades making it suitable for many kinds of blasting jobs due to it's fast cleaning rates. Black in colour.

More products are being looked at, and testing will be carried out before use.
